Description of Friday, October 16 morning visits
VISIT N°1 - PORT TOUR BY BOAT
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, Limited to 70 participants
On board the Vedettes Baie de Seine boat, you will embark from the marina for a tour to Port 2000 with a special focus on the work being carried ou to create a new access route to the harbour basin. This visit will be commented by Benoît Seidlitz, Director of Project Management and Engineering at HAROPA PORT. The tour route may be modified depending on the weather.
Meeting / return point : Digue Charles Olsen, Boulevard Clémenceau
Special requirements :
- Please check in 15 minutes before the start of the visit
- Provide clothing adapted to the weather (closed shoes without heels and warm clothes or rain gear depending on the weather)
- It is preferable not to be too prone to seasickness

This visit can be completed by an additional visit of your choice in the 3 variants described below.
- Variant 1 - Extension with the Port Center
- Variant 2 - Extension with the SNSM
- Variant 3 - Extension with the RENAQ
For those who do not wish to take an additional tour, the lunch meeting is set for 12:15 PM at the restaurant « Les régates », Eric Tabarly quay (Le Havre). Lunch ends at 2:30 PM.
Variant 1 - Extension with the Port Center of Le Havre
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Limited to 30 participants
Discover the first Port Center in France, a place that opens the doors to the maritime and port universe with an educational and immersive approach. You will discover large satellite photos on the floor of more than 230 m² of the entire Seine axis up to Paris. This visit will also be an opportunity to explore the new temporary exhibition dedicated to the project to create a direct river access route to Port 2000, a proper river channel.

Return point : Restaurant « Les Régates », quai Eric Tabarly
Special requirements : The journey between the meeting point and the return point is planned by bus.

Variant 2 - Extension with the SNSM
10:30 AM - 12:15 PM, Limited to 30 participants
Visit of the new SNSM station in Le Havre, the « all-weather » lifeboat and the semi-rigid boat (subject to no interventions).
Meeting / return point : Station SNSM, 127 Boulevard Clémenceau

Variant 3 - Extension with the RENAQ
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Limited to 10 participants
Under the direction of the HAROPA Port Manager for the RENAQ Project, visitors will discover the 1st French installation for Shore-to-Ship Power (RENAQ) commissioned in October 2025. This installation, part of the new cruise terminal in Le Havre, provides several MW of power per connection to several ships at the same time.

Return point : Restaurant « Les Régates », quai Eric Tabarly
Special requirements :
- Not accessible for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
- The transfer between the landing pier and the station is on foot (approximately 8 minutes' walk from Olsen Quay and 12 minutes' walk back to Les Régates restaurant).
- Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, including closed-toe flat shoes and warm or waterproof clothing, depending on the forecast.

VISIT N°2 - PILOTING SIMULATOR
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Limited to 10 participants
Visitors will get to experience the new maneuvering simulator at the Le Havre-Fécamp Pilot School, under the guidance of the instructor pilot in charge of the simulator.
